​Yeovil Community Meals Service is a charity which delivers meals to vulnerable people in Yeovil, monday to friday excluding bank holidays.

 

Meals are freshly cooked each day in the kitchen at Yeovil Day Centre and delivered between 12.00 noon and 1.30 pm by volunteer drivers. Cost is £7.50 per meal.

 

Clients do not need to be referred and enquiries are welcome from any individual or representative of any person who cannot regularly prepare and cook a meal for themselves.

How our service works ~

Hot freshly cooked ready to eat meals for older people in the community, those with mobility problems, dementia or those recently home from hospital who have difficulty cooking for themselves either short or long term.

 

Choose from a seasonal, traditional menu which changes weekly and uses fresh seasonal vegetables whenever possible.

Alternatives meals are available should you have any particular dietary needs or preferences.

 

Meals are delivered in airline style thermo boxes with crockery dishes or in foil containers for dishing onto your own plate

 

Menus are delivered to you and orders with payment are taken on fridays for the following week.

 

Meals can be cancelled should the need arise by 10.00am please and any money collected will be carried over to the following week.

 

Menus may be emailed if you prefer.

 

Sandwiches and cakes of your choice can be delivered with your hot meal. Please order these with your hot meals. Price on application.
